The Other Side of the DoorAlmost from the beginning, the kittens have been fascinated by The Door. Once they figured out how to climb over the baby gate seperating them from the closet (set up as their den) and the office (kitten-proofed as best as possible), they spent a lot of time examining the crack under the door that leads to the rest of the house.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the door, two other fur-children were equally interested.
It soon became clear that the baby gate wasn't impeding the kittens at all, so I gave up on trying to keep them in the closet (which is still large enough for some play space) when I wasn't in the room to supervise. So the baby gate became part of The Door, serving to slow the kittens down long enough to prevent them from dashing out every time someone goes in or out. |
